From the day I was born I’ve been immersed in the world of opera. My father was a bass and soloist at the Iasi National Opera so the theatre was my playground and the staff my extended family. I still remember being taken to my first full performance when I was three and becoming immediately obsessed with the art form.
After studies in Romania and Germany, I began my career in artist management by working for Universal Music/Centre Stage Artist Management in Berlin before moving to London to join Intermusica as an artist manager. During my time at Intermusica I became Director, Vocal & Opera, and built a large roster of young and established singers.
During my time at Intermusica I became Director, Vocal & Opera, and built a large roster of young and established singers who have all decided to join me at MWA, when I founded the company in November 2020.
I’ve always been entrepreneurial in my outlook and believe MWA brings together knowledge, passion, strategic thinking and a vast network of contacts in all areas of the business for its clients. MWA allows me to continue to honour those gifts given to me by my family and to ensure that legacy is multiplied many times over in helping to shape, support and guide the careers of those singers I’m fortunate enough to represent.
Passionate about music since childhood, Charlotte initially trained as a soprano at the Royal Academy of Music. Upon graduation she decided to pursue a career in artist management and after a six months internship at Askonas Holt and working front of house at the Wigmore Hall, she joined Maria Mot at Intermusica as her assistant in 2018. Charlotte has been part of MWA from the very beginning and was appointed as Artist Manager in 2022.
Rosina graduated from the Royal College of Music, London in 2020 where she trained as a violinist. Alongside her studies at the RCM, she worked in the Front of House Department at English National Opera where she discovered her passion for opera. Rosina joined MWA Management in December 2023 and previously worked as the Artistic Planning Manager at the National Opera Studio, London for 2 years.
Katy, a former soprano, began her career as a girl chorister, and then went on to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Royal College of Music and the National Opera Studio, London. As a soloist, she appeared at many opera houses throughout Europe including Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, Teatro Niccolini Firenze, Opéra Grand Avignon, Opéra de Rennes, Opéra de Massy, Garsington Opera, Longborough Festival Opera and Early Opera Company. Now a mum to two, Katy wants to focus on facilitating the careers of others and using her skills as a PA and administrator and is thrilled to be working with the highest calibre of artists at MWA.
