This August Lise Davidsen will make her debut as Senta along side Gerald Finley in the title role. Stanislas de Barbeyrac as Erik, Brindley Sherratt as Daland and Anna Kissjudit as Mary in two gala performances of Wagner’s epic opera The Flying Dutchman at the Norwegian National Opera under the baton of Edward Gardner. There will be two performances on Thursday 22 August and Saturday 24 August 2024 which will be recorded by Decca Classics for a later release.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday, June 13 at 11 am (CET).
This will be the one and only time that Lise Davidsen will take on the role of Senta, so make sure to get your ticket!
