On December 12th, Anna Pirozzi makes her eagerly anticipated debut at the Opera de Paris as Leonora in Jean-Claude Auvray’s production of La Forza del Destino. Originally due to debut on the 24th December, Anna steps in for an ailing Anna Netrebko.
La Forza del Destino is the first production in a double appearance at the Opera de Paris. Anna also sings Leonara in Il Trovatore from 21st January – 17th February 2023, before returning to the Royal Opera House for Turandot and making her debut at the Greek National Opera in David McVicar’s new production of Medea conducted by Philippe Auguin as part of the Callas centenary.
