After a remarkable double appearance last season as Leonora in both Il Trovatore and La Forza del Destino, Anna Pirozzi made a triumphant return to the Opéra National de Paris in her role debut as Cilea’s titular heroine Adriana Lecouvreur.
Anna made her debut in this notoriously complex role, based on the life of actress Adrienne Lecouvreur, on the 28th January, in David McVicar’s classic production, conducted by Jader Bignamini. Her performance was received to great acclaim from public and critics alike.
