Lise Davidsen makes a major role debut this season at the Gran Teatre del Liceu as Giorgetta in Il Tabarro in Lotte de Beer’s production of Puccini’s Il Trittico under the baton of Susanna Mälkki. This marks her first Puccini role which will be followed later this season by Tosca in the opening of the Bergen International Festival (alongside Freddie De Tommaso) and Elisabetta in Verdi’s Don Carlo at the Royal Opera House.
