Operatic superstars Lise Davidsen and Freddie De Tommaso will be starting their 2024/25 season with a performances of Verdi’s Tosca. This is Lise’s long awaited role debut on stage and beginning at the Staatsoper unter den Linden, this sensational duo will tour to Bayerische Staatsoper, the Metropolitan Opera and Wiener Staatsoper.
Joining them in Berlin for their season opener, will be the incomparable Gerald Finley, as the villainous Scarpia, in Alvis Hermanis’s production, conducted by Zubin Mehta.
At the Bayerische Staatsoper, Lise and Freddie will be conducted by Oksana Lyniv in Kornél Mundruczó production. Tickets can be booked here.
They then bring their performances to the other side of the pond, at the Metropolitan Opera, for David McVicar’s production, conducted by Xian Zhang. This performance will be livestreamed to cinemas across the world on Saturday 23 November. Book tickets to this .
