Huw Montague Rendall was named the Best Newcomer at the Oper! Awards 2024. The award ceremony was hosted by Dutch National Opera, Amsterdam on 29 January 2024 and Huw performed ‘O vin, dissipe la tristesse’ from Ambroise Thomas’s Hamlet with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra.
